Plan Your Trip to Bali – Landing on the Magical Paradise in 2024

We have a common notion of wishing for something that seemed difficult in reality. We tend to nip such thoughts in the bud. This happens quite often in case of travelling to an alien place. If you are one of them or you wish to experience something extraordinary, then you have landed at the right place.

We will help you out with your plans and also give you a glimpse of our journey.

As we call ourselves Travel Freaks…………

In this blog series, we will be taking you all on an adventurous trip to Bali. Just be seated.

Now we know what you might be thinking…………

1. Why Bali?

To be honest, we cannot explain why we chose it, but we can say it was one of our dream destinations.

Let us explain what we feel about Bali.

Bali (Indonesia) is magical and unparalleled. It has something unique to offer everyone. It has a wonderful combination of people, culture, nature, activities, weather, culinary pleasures, nightlife, and lovely accommodations.

Don’t worry; we know you wanna know…………..

2. How did we reach Bali?

We want to inform our readers that we were travelling from India. Most importantly, we had been planning this trip for so long & finally, the day arrived.

We took off the flight for Bali, with a transit of around 8 hrs was there in Kuala Lumpur. From Kolkata (India), our flight was at 12:45 AM & we reached Kuala Lumpur (Malaysia) by 7:15 AM local time.

Because of the long layover, we waited & explored the waiting area a bit and had our breakfast & lunch at the Kuala Lumpur airport itself. From there, we were ready to take our next flight to the final destination, i.e., Bali Denpasar.

We want to share that as we didn’t leave the Airport premises and both the flights from Kolkata to Bali had the same PNR, so we didn’t require any VISA in Kuala Lumpur.

It was around four o’clock in the evening, which took us approximately three hours to get to Bali from Kuala Lumpur.

As we arrived at the Bali airport (Ngurah Rai International Airport), we met & were greeted by our guide with whom we had planned to explore this beautiful island.

If anyone wishes to visit Bali, they can explore various options available on their site. They provide affordable packages.

Returning to our story, as we came out with luggage, we quickly took the local sim we booked from Klook. We suggest taking it from there as they have many exciting offers from time to time.

After landing, we know what you wanna know…….

3. How was the first impression of Bali?

Let us share our experience first, and then you judge accordingly.

As we were sharing, after loading the luggage in the car, we continued our way to the hotel as all were tired after such a long journey.

On the way, we stopped at one of the currency exchangers, got the money exchanged & hopped into the car again. We suggest bringing larger denomination currency to get better exchange rates.

After reaching the hotel at Kuta & completing the check-in formalities, we went to our rooms, freshened up & came out for dinner. The hotel staffs were so friendly & helpful that they suggested a few nearby restaurants for dinner.

As it was already late, we went to one of them, a small setup restaurant with local delicacies. We tried a few local dishes like Nasi Goreng (fried rice) with soto (soup), which was amazing.

Post-dinner, we had to call our day off, as planned, for an early morning departure the next day.

So overall, it was a mesmerising first impression. We didn’t expect that much caring from the local people. Now before we end this blog, you may want to know………..
